| ***IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT FROM CAPT NATIONAL***
In keeping with advice and guidance from our legal
and accounting team, CAPT is reverting to a membership year that expires on
the same date for all members, Mar 31.
Our longstanding members will recall that this is
what we used in the past..
Some members currently have other dates as their
expiry dates.(Jun 30, Sept 30 or Dec 31) This format will be phased out over
the next few month. Many of you have already received a pro-rated renewal
which facilitates moving you to the unified expiry date. If you are slated
to expire in December 2007, you will receive a pro-rated renewal for
15 months which will take you to Mar 31, 2009.
Once the transition is complete, ( March 31,
2008), all CAPT members will renew each March 31 thereafter.
It has come to our attention that a few of you have
already renewed via a chapter rather than directly with CAPT. If, in this
instance, you have renewed with the full amount, CAPT's membership team will
hold any overpayment as a credit which will appear on your renewal form. All
renewal forms will be sent from CAPT directly and will show any credit
amount on file. Please disregard any renewal forms that may be sent by
chapters as they are no longer valid and will not reflect your credit.
